Indications

Lectrum is indicated for the treatment of various medical conditions that require the suppression of sex hormones. It is used in patients with advanced prostate cancer, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, and precocious puberty. This medication acts as a gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) agonist, inhibiting the production of sex hormones and helping to control cell growth related to these conditions.

Composition

Each Lectrum ampoule contains 11.25 mg of leuprorelin, as well as excipients necessary for the product's formulation.

Contraindications

Lectrum is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to leuprorelin or any of the components of the formula. It should not be administered during pregnancy or lactation, nor in patients with a history of severe heart disease or uncontrolled hormonal disorders.

Precautions

Regular medical follow-up is important during Lectrum treatment. Patients with a history of cardiovascular disease should use this medication with caution. Likewise, it is recommended to evaluate liver and kidney function before starting treatment. Administration to children without proper supervision from a specialist doctor is not recommended.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
