Indications

Latisse is indicated for the treatment of eyelash hypotrichosis, a condition characterized by insufficient or sparse eyelash growth. This medication promotes the growth of longer, thicker, and darker eyelashes. Daily application to the base of the upper eyelashes, using the included applicator, is recommended. Results can generally be observed after continuous use for at least 8 weeks, and the maximum effect can be noted at 16 weeks. It is important to continue with the treatment to maintain the obtained results.

Composition

Each ml of Latisse contains 0.3 mg of bimatoprost, as well as the necessary excipients for the product's formulation.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to bimatoprost or any of the components of the formula. It should not be used by individuals with a history of active ocular inflammation or specific eye diseases, such as angle-closure glaucoma.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when applying Latisse in patients with a history of eye diseases or who are using contact lenses. It is advisable to remove contact lenses before application and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting them. In addition, contact of the applicator with any surface should be avoided to prevent contamination. If persistent eye irritation or any adverse reaction occurs, a doctor should be consulted.

Storage

Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 °C. Protect from light and keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
