Indications

Lastacaft Drops is indicated for the relief of symptoms of seasonal allergic conjunctivitis, which include itching, redness, and watery eyes. This medication acts as an antihistamine, blocking histamine receptors in the eyes, which helps reduce inflammation and ocular discomfort. Its use is recommended for patients experiencing allergic reactions to pollen, dust mites, and other common allergens.

Composition

Each ml of Lastacaft Drops contains 2.5 mg of alcaftadine. Other components include sodium chloride, benzalkonium chloride, boric acid, and purified water.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to alcaftadine or any of the excipients in the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with severe ocular conditions, such as untreated infections or corneal ulcerations.

Precautions

Care should be taken when using Lastacaft Drops in patients who wear contact lenses, as it is advised to wait at least 10 minutes after applying the medication before inserting the lenses. Additionally, it is recommended to avoid contact of the dropper with any surface to prevent contamination. If symptoms persist or worsen, a doctor should be consulted.

Storage

Store the product at room temperature, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.

Shipping

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
  4. Orders received after 2:00 PM will be shipped the next day.
