Indications

Lanfetil-500 (Mycophenolic Acid) is indicated as part of an immunosuppression regimen in patients who have received a solid organ transplant, such as kidney, liver, or heart. This medication is used to prevent graft rejection by acting on the patient's immune system. Its use is recommended in combination with other immunosuppressants, such as corticosteroids and cyclosporine, to achieve optimal efficacy in preventing rejection. The dosage and duration of treatment should be determined by a specialist physician, taking into account the individual characteristics of the patient and the type of transplant performed.

Composition

Each Lanfetil-500 tablet contains 500 mg of mycophenolic acid, as well as the excipients necessary for the formulation of the medicine. It is important to follow the doctor's instructions regarding proper administration and dosage.

Contraindications

Lanfetil-500 is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to mycophenolic acid or any of the components of the formula. Likewise, its use is not recommended in pregnant or breastfeeding women, unless the potential benefit justifies the risk to the fetus or infant. It is also contraindicated in patients with active, uncontrolled infections.

Precautions
