Indications
Labixten is indicated for the treatment of symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, as well as for the relief of chronic idiopathic urticaria. This molecule works by blocking H1 histamine receptors, which helps reduce symptoms such as sneezing, rhinorrhea, itchy nose and eyes, and skin rashes. Labixten provides a rapid and prolonged effect, allowing for an improved quality of life in patients suffering from these allergic conditions.
Composition
Each Labixten tablet contains 20 mg of bilastine, as well as excipients necessary for the formulation of the medication.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to bilastine or to any of the excipients in the formulation. Its use is not recommended in children under 12 years of age or in pregnant or breastfeeding women, unless clearly indicated by a doctor.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with moderate or severe renal impairment, as well as in those who are being treated with other medications that may cause sedation. It is recommended to avoid alcohol consumption and other central nervous system depressants during treatment with Labixten.
Storage
Store the medication in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children and do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
