Indications
Klarix (Clarithromycin) is indicated for the treatment of bacterial infections caused by susceptible microorganisms. These infections include, but are not limited to, upper and lower respiratory tract infections, such as pharyngitis, sinusitis, bronchitis, and pneumonia. In addition, it is used in the treatment of skin and soft tissue infections, as well as in cases of gastric ulcers associated with Helicobacter pylori, in combination with other medications. Clarithromycin acts by inhibiting protein synthesis in bacteria, which contributes to its bactericidal action.
Composition
Each Klarix tablet contains 500 mg of Clarithromycin as the active ingredient, in addition to excipients that facilitate the formulation and stabilization of the product.
Contraindications
Klarix is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to clarithromycin, other macrolide antibiotics, or any of the components of the formula. It should not be administered to patients with a history of severe hepatic dysfunction or severe renal insufficiency, as well as those taking certain medications that interact with clarithromycin.
Precautions
Special care should be taken in patients with liver or kidney problems or those with cardiac arrhythmias. It is advisable to perform adequate medical monitoring during treatment, especially in vulnerable populations such as the elderly or chronically ill. Concomitant use with certain medications that may increase the risk of adverse effects should be avoided.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children.
