Indications
Keral Sachet Solution is indicated for the treatment of acute pain, such as postoperative pain, dental pain, headache, and pain associated with traumatic injuries. It is also used for the treatment of inflammatory conditions that cause pain, such as arthritis and other musculoskeletal disorders. The action of dexketoprofen is based on its ability to inhibit prostaglandin synthesis, which reduces inflammation and relieves pain. It is important that administration is carried out under strict medical supervision and that recommended doses are followed to avoid adverse effects.
Composition
Each Keral sachet contains: Dexketoprofen (as dexketoprofen trometamol) 25 mg, excipients: sorbitol, citric acid, among others.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to dexketoprofen, other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) or any of the components of the formula. It should not be used in patients with active peptic ulcer, gastrointestinal bleeding, severe renal or hepatic insufficiency, and during pregnancy and lactation, unless medically indicated.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of gastrointestinal diseases, cardiovascular problems, hypertension, and asthma. Monitoring of renal and hepatic function is recommended during prolonged treatment. The administration of Keral in combination with other NSAIDs or anticoagulants may increase the risk of side effects.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
