Indications

Jarsix is indicated for the treatment of allergic symptoms, such as allergic rhinitis and urticaria. Loratadine is a second-generation antihistamine that works by blocking histamine receptors, providing relief from symptoms like sneezing, itching in the nose and eyes, and runny nose. Betamethasone, a corticosteroid, is used to reduce inflammation and itching associated with severe allergic conditions, thus contributing to the management of allergic reactions that do not respond adequately to antihistamine treatment alone.

Composition

Each Jarsix tablet contains: Loratadine 5 mg and Betamethasone 0.25 mg as active ingredients. Other components include excipients that facilitate the formulation and administration of the medication.

Contraindications

Jarsix is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with severe liver diseases and in those with active viral infections, as the use of corticosteroids can worsen these conditions.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of peptic ulcer, high blood pressure, diabetes mellitus, and in those who are being treated with other medications that may interact with loratadine and betamethasone. Medical monitoring is important for patients requiring prolonged corticosteroid treatment.
