Indications
Iprikene is indicated for the treatment of acute and chronic diarrhea in adults and children. Its mechanism of action is based on diosmectite's ability to adsorb toxins and microorganisms present in the gastrointestinal tract, thus contributing to the restoration of intestinal flora and the normalization of intestinal transit. In addition, it is used in the management of gastroenteritis and in cases of food poisoning. Iprikene may also be beneficial in the treatment of diarrhea associated with viral infections.
Composition
Each sachet of Iprikene contains 3 grams of diosmectite as the active ingredient, as well as excipients that facilitate its administration and strawberry flavor.
Contraindications
Iprikene is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to diosmectite or any of the formula's components. Its use is not recommended in cases of bloody diarrhea or high fever without proper medical evaluation.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with inflammatory bowel disease or those presenting symptoms of intestinal obstruction. It is advisable to consult a doctor if diarrhea persists for more than 48 hours or if signs of dehydration appear. It should not be administered to patients with serious illnesses without appropriate medical supervision.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the packaging.

- FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
