Indications

Initome is indicated for the treatment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in pediatric and adult patients. Atomoxetine acts as a selective norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor, which helps to increase attention and decrease impulsivity and hyperactivity. This medication is used as part of a comprehensive treatment program that may include psychological and educational therapy.

Composition

Each Initome capsule contains 10 mg of atomoxetine, as well as excipients necessary for the formulation of the medicine.

Contraindications

Initome is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to atomoxetine or to any of the components of the formula. It is also contraindicated in patients who are receiving treatment with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or who have discontinued their use in the last two weeks.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when administering Initome to patients with a history of cardiovascular disorders, hypertension, or psychiatric problems, as it may increase blood pressure and heart rate. Regular monitoring of these parameters is recommended during treatment. Likewise, the risk of suicidal ideation should be carefully evaluated, especially in adolescents and young adults.

Store in a cool, dry place, at room temperature, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
