Indications

Indocid Suppository 100 mg is indicated for the treatment of various painful and inflammatory conditions. Its main indications include:

  • Rheumatoid arthritis
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Ankylosing spondylitis
  • Acute moderate to severe pain
  • Dysmenorrhea (menstrual pain)
  • Acute gout

Indomethacin works by reducing inflammation and relieving pain through the inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis, key mediators in the inflammatory process.

Composition

Each Indocid suppository contains:

  • Indomethacin: 100 mg
  • Excipients: beeswax, glycerin, among others.

Contraindications

The use of Indocid is contraindicated in patients who present:

  • Known hypersensitivity to indomethacin or other NSAIDs.
  • Active gastric or duodenal ulcers.
  • Severe renal or hepatic failure.
  • Active inflammatory bowel diseases.
  • Pregnancy and lactation, unless strictly necessary and under medical supervision.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of cardiovascular disease, hypertension, gastrointestinal diseases, as well as in the elderly. Regular medical follow-up is recommended during treatment.

Storage

Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius. Keep out of reach of children and protect from light.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
  4. Orders received after 2:00 PM will be shipped the next day.
