Indications

Indocid (indomethacin) is indicated for the treatment of various conditions requiring an anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect. This medication is used for the management of pain and inflammation in conditions such as:

  • Rheumatoid arthritis
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Ankylosing spondylitis
  • Gout
  • Post-operative pain
  • Dysmenorrhea (menstrual pain)
It is important that the use of this medication is supervised by a healthcare professional to ensure its effectiveness and safety.

Composition

Each Indocid capsule contains 25 mg of indomethacin as the active ingredient, as well as excipients necessary for the medication's formulation.

Contraindications

Indocid is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to indomethacin or other NSAIDs. It is also contraindicated in patients with active peptic ulcer, gastrointestinal bleeding, severe renal insufficiency, and in those with asthma or allergic rhinitis induced by NSAID use.

Precautions

Caution is advised in patients with a history of gastrointestinal disease, cardiovascular disease, hypertension, renal or hepatic insufficiency. Medical monitoring is important if the patient experiences adverse effects during treatment.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at room temperature, out of the reach of children. Protect from light and humidity. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.

Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
