Indications

Imnovid (Pomalidomide) is indicated for the treatment of adult patients with multiple myeloma who have received at least two prior therapies, including lenalidomide and a proteasome inhibitor, and have demonstrated disease progression. This medication acts as an immunomodulator, helping to modify the patient's immune response and inhibit the growth of tumor cells.

Additionally, it has been used in combination with dexamethasone to improve treatment efficacy in patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma. It is important that this medication be administered under the supervision of a medical oncologist.

Composition

Each Imnovid capsule contains 4 mg of Pomalidomide as the active ingredient, as well as excipients that allow for proper product formulation.

Contraindications

Imnovid is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Pomalidomide or to any of the excipients in the formulation. It should not be used during pregnancy or in breastfeeding women.

Precautions

Caution is recommended in patients with a history of thromboembolism, and regular monitoring of hematological function should be performed, as it can cause neutropenia and thrombocytopenia. Care should also be taken in patients with hepatic or renal insufficiency, adjusting the dose as needed.

Storage

Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius. Keep in its original packaging and out of reach of children.
