Indications
Icorsan Cream 1% is indicated for the treatment of various dermatological conditions that require the application of a corticosteroid. This medication is effective in reducing inflammation, redness, and itching associated with skin conditions such as dermatitis, eczema, and allergic reactions. Its use is recommended in the management of inflammatory skin lesions where the use of topical corticosteroids is considered necessary. It can also be used for the relief of symptoms in certain types of contact dermatitis. It is essential to follow the doctor's instructions regarding the frequency and duration of treatment to maximize benefits and minimize adverse effects.
Composition
Each 100 g of Icorsan Cream contains:
- Hydrocortisone (1 g)
- Excipients: purified water, glycerin, glyceryl stearate, among others.
Contraindications
The use of Icorsan Cream is not recommended in patients who present hypersensitivity to hydrocortisone or to any of the excipients in the formula. Its application should be avoided in untreated skin infections, as well as in active viral, fungal, or bacterial skin lesions. It is also contraindicated in cases of cutaneous tuberculosis and rosacea.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of recurrent skin infections or in those who are using other topical medications. Prolonged use of corticosteroids can cause adverse effects such as skin atrophy, stretch marks, or changes in pigmentation. It is important to avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. In case of developing adverse reactions, treatment should be discontinued and a doctor should be consulted.

Store in a cool, dry place, at room temperature, out of reach of children. Do not expose to extreme temperatures.

Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
