Indications

Histina 10 mg is indicated for the relief of symptoms associated with seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, such as sneezing, rhinorrhea (nasal discharge), nasal and ocular itching. It is also effective in the treatment of chronic idiopathic urticaria, relieving itching and reducing the appearance of hives. Loratadine, its active ingredient, acts as a selective H1 histamine receptor antagonist, which helps to reduce the body's allergic response without causing significant sedation.

Composition

Each Histina tablet contains 10 mg of loratadine as the active ingredient. Excipients: Lactose, starch, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, and talc.

Contraindications

Histina is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to loratadine or any of the product's excipients. Its use is not recommended in pregnant or breastfeeding women without a doctor's approval.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when administering loratadine to patients with hepatic impairment, as well as to those taking other medications that may affect its metabolism. It is recommended to avoid alcohol consumption during treatment, as it may potentiate adverse effects. In case of adverse reactions, discontinue use and consult a doctor.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
