Indications
Hiperton Drops is indicated for the treatment of hyponatremia, a condition characterized by low sodium levels in the blood. It is also used in the management of electrolyte imbalances and as part of rehydration therapy in patients with severe dehydration. Its formulation allows for adequate absorption and rapid availability of sodium chloride, promoting the correction of sodium levels in the body. This medication can be used in patients requiring electrolyte replacement, as well as in those with conditions that compromise sodium concentration in their system.
Composition
Each ml of Hiperton Drops contains 50 mg of sodium chloride. Excipients are: purified water and other inactive components that allow for the proper formulation of the product.
Contraindications
Hiperton Drops is contraindicated in patients with hypernatremia (elevated sodium levels in the blood) and those with fluid retention conditions, such as severe renal or cardiac failure. Caution should also be exercised in patients with uncontrolled hypertension, as the administration of sodium chloride can exacerbate these conditions.
