Indications
Hygroton Blok is indicated for the treatment of essential hypertension. The combination of Atenolol, a beta-blocker, and Chlorthalidone, a diuretic, helps lower blood pressure by decreasing heart rate and promoting fluid elimination, respectively. This medication can be used in patients with heart failure and in those at risk of cardiovascular complications. Additionally, its use is recommended in the management of certain types of cardiac arrhythmias and in the prophylaxis of migraines, always under medical supervision.
Composition
Each tablet contains 100 mg of Atenolol and 25 mg of Chlorthalidone as active ingredients, as well as excipients that facilitate its formulation and absorption.
Contraindications
Hygroton Blok is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to the components of the formula, severe renal failure, bradycardia, second and third-degree atrioventricular block, and in those with bronchial asthma or severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of respiratory diseases, diabetes mellitus, and in those who are undergoing treatment with other antihypertensives or medications that may affect renal function. It is advisable to monitor blood pressure and renal function during treatment.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
