Indications
Grimal Drops is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of nasal congestion in adults and children over 6 years of age. It is used to relieve nasal discomfort associated with colds, allergic rhinitis, and sinusitis. Sodium Hyaluronate acts as a humectant, helping to maintain the hydration of the nasal mucous membranes, while Oxymetazoline provides a decongestant effect by acting on adrenergic receptors, thereby reducing swelling and facilitating nasal breathing. This product is intended for temporary use and should not be used for prolonged periods without proper medical supervision.
Composition
Each mL of Grimal Drops contains: 2 mg of Sodium Hyaluronate and 0.25 mg of Oxymetazoline. Excipients: Sodium chloride, purified water, among others.
Contraindications
Grimal Drops is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with closed-angle glaucoma, atrophic rhinitis, or in those who have had recent nasal surgery.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with cardiovascular diseases, high blood pressure, diabetes mellitus, or thyroid problems. Prolonged use is not recommended, as it may cause a rebound effect of nasal congestion. If symptoms persist for more than 3 days, a doctor should be consulted.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place at room temperature. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
