Indications

Gizacrel (rasagiline) is indicated as a treatment for patients with Parkinson's disease, used alone or in combination with other antiparkinsonian medications. Rasagiline acts as a monoamine oxidase B (MAO-B) inhibitor, which helps to increase dopamine levels in the brain, thereby improving the motor symptoms of the disease. It is important to note that the use of Gizacrel must be supervised by a neurologist, who will assess the patient's condition and adjust the dosage according to their specific needs.

Composition

Each Gizacrel tablet contains 1 mg of rasagiline as the active ingredient. In addition, excipients are included to facilitate the formulation and stability of the product.

Contraindications

Gizacrel is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to rasagiline or any of the components of the formula. It should also be avoided in combination with other MAOIs, as well as in patients who have received treatment with certain antidepressants. Its use is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when using Gizacrel in patients with a history of behavioral disorders, as well as in those with cardiovascular diseases. Regular monitoring of treatment response is recommended, and the dose should be adjusted if necessary. Likewise, the risk of drug interactions should be considered, especially with other drugs that affect the central nervous system.

Gizacrel should be stored at room temperature, in a dry place and away from direct light. Keep out of reach of children.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
