Indications

Gelubrin is indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate pain, including headache, dental pain, muscle pain, and pain associated with sports injuries. It is also useful in the management of inflammatory conditions, such as arthritis, and in fever reduction. Ibuprofen acts by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins, which are responsible for pain sensation and inflammatory processes in the body. Its use is recommended for adults and children over 12 years of age, always under the supervision of a physician.

Composition

Each Gelubrin capsule contains 400 mg of ibuprofen as the active ingredient. It also includes excipients such as starch, gelatin, and other components necessary for the formulation of the medicine.

Contraindications

Gelubrin is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to ibuprofen or any of the components of the formula. It should not be administered in cases of active peptic ulcer, severe renal failure, severe hepatic failure, and in patients with a history of allergic reactions, such as asthma, urticaria, or allergic rhinitis, after the administration of acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when using Gelubrin in patients with a history of cardiovascular diseases, hypertension, asthma, gastrointestinal disorders, or in those undergoing treatment with anticoagulants. Its use during pregnancy and lactation is advisable to avoid unless strictly necessary and under medical supervision. Furthermore, it is recommended not to exceed the recommended dose and to maintain adequate hydration during treatment.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children.
