Indications
Fluxedan is indicated for the treatment of dry and productive cough in adults and children over 2 years of age. This medication acts as an antitussive and mucolytic, helping to reduce throat irritation and facilitate the expulsion of bronchial secretions. It is used in respiratory conditions where symptomatic relief is required, such as in cases of colds, bronchitis, and other respiratory affections that involve coughing.
Composition
Each 5 ml of syrup contains:
- Bromhexine 4 mg
- Oxeladin 15 mg
Contraindications
Fluxedan is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in cases of cough associated with asthma or in patients with severe obstructive respiratory diseases. It is also contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation, unless otherwise directed by a doctor.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of peptic ulcer or gastrointestinal disorders, as bromhexine may increase mucus secretion. This medication should be used with caution in patients with liver or kidney diseases. It is recommended to consult a doctor before starting treatment if the patient is taking other medications or has pre-existing medical conditions.
Storage
Store at room temperature, in a cool, dry place, away from direct light. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the package.

- FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
