Indications

Flucogrel (Clopidogrel) is indicated for the prevention of atherothrombotic events in patients with acute coronary syndrome, acute myocardial infarction, or in patients who have undergone revascularization procedures such as angioplasty. It is also used in patients with a history of stroke or transient ischemic attack, as well as in those with peripheral arterial disease. It is recommended in combination with acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin) to improve cardiovascular protection in patients at high risk of cardiovascular events.

Composition

Each Flucogrel tablet contains 75 mg of Clopidogrel, as well as excipients that facilitate its formulation and stability.

Contraindications

Flucogrel is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Clopidogrel or any component of the formulation. It should not be administered in cases of active pathological bleeding, such as gastrointestinal ulcers or intracranial hemorrhages. It is contraindicated in patients with severe hepatic insufficiency and in those who are being treated with other anticoagulants or antithrombotics without adequate medical supervision.

Precautions

Caution is recommended in patients with a history of gastrointestinal ulceration, bleeding, or bleeding disorders. It is important to assess the risk of bleeding before starting treatment and during its use. In addition, care should be taken in patients with moderate renal or hepatic insufficiency. Flucogrel may interact with other medications, so it is suggested that a doctor be consulted before starting any concomitant treatment.

Storage

Store Flucogrel in its original packaging, at room temperature, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
