Indications
Ferro-Folico is indicated for the prevention and treatment of iron and folic acid deficiency in situations of increased requirements, such as during pregnancy, lactation, and in cases of iron deficiency anemia. This product is useful for improving red blood cell and hemoglobin production, as well as for contributing to the normal development of the fetus during pregnancy. Additionally, it may be beneficial in situations of chronic fatigue and in people with restrictive diets who may have an insufficient intake of these essential nutrients.
Composition
Each tablet of Ferro-Folico contains: 525 mg of Ferrous Sulfate, 500 mg of Ascorbic Acid, and 800 mcg of Folic Acid.
Contraindications
Ferro-Folico is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of its components. It should also be avoided in cases of hemochromatosis, hemosiderosis, and other conditions where there is iron overload. Its use is not recommended in patients with gastrointestinal diseases that prevent iron absorption.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of peptic ulcer or colitis. It is important to monitor iron levels in patients receiving prolonged treatment. Likewise, it is recommended to consult a doctor before starting treatment in case of chronic diseases or in patients over 65 years of age.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C, in its original packaging. Keep out of reach of children.
