Indications

Ferricol Ped Suspension is indicated for the treatment of iron deficiency anemia in children. This product is especially useful for those with iron and folic acid deficiencies, which are essential nutrients for red blood cell formation and proper body function. Its use is recommended in cases of:

  • Anemia caused by iron deficiency.
  • Prevention of anemia in vulnerable populations, such as growing children and adolescents.
  • Conditions that increase the need for iron and folic acid, such as during periods of rapid development or chronic illnesses.

Composition

Each 10 ml of Ferricol Ped Suspension contains:

  • Iron (as ferrous sulfate): 600 mg
  • Folic acid: 10 mg

Contraindications

Ferricol Ped Suspension is contraindicated in cases of:

  • Known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula.
  • Non-iron deficiency anemia.
  • Hemochromatosis or hemosiderosis.

Precautions

Caution is recommended in patients with a history of gastrointestinal diseases, as well as in those with conditions that may alter iron absorption. It is important to monitor blood iron levels during treatment.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at temperatures not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
