Indications
Ferricol is indicated for the prevention and treatment of iron and folic acid deficiency anemia. It is especially useful in at-risk populations, such as pregnant women, breastfeeding women, and people with inadequate diets. Additionally, it may be beneficial in cases of chronic hemorrhages or in people who require an increase in red blood cell production.
Composition
Each Ferricol tablet contains: 30 mg of Chelated Iron and 500 µg of Folic Acid.
Contraindications
Ferricol is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. It should also be avoided in patients with hemochromatosis, hemosiderosis, or any other condition that involves iron overload. Its use is not recommended in patients with non-iron deficiency anemia.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Ferricol to patients with gastrointestinal diseases, as well as to those who are taking other iron supplements, as this may lead to iron overload. It is recommended to monitor iron and hemoglobin levels in patients on prolonged treatment. Its use in combination with certain medications that may interfere with iron absorption is not recommended.

Store in a cool, dry place, at room temperature, protected from light and humidity. Keep out of reach of children.
