Indications

Ferranina Fol is indicated for the prevention and treatment of iron and folic acid deficiency, especially in situations where there is an increased demand for these nutrients, such as during pregnancy, lactation, and growth stages. It is also useful in cases of iron-deficiency anemia, where it is necessary to replenish iron and folic acid levels to ensure proper development and functioning of the body. This product is also indicated for patients with a diet deficient in these micronutrients, as well as those suffering from gastrointestinal disorders that affect iron absorption.

Composition

Each Ferranina Fol coated tablet contains: 100 mg of iron (as ferrous fumarate) and 800 mcg of folic acid.

Contraindications

Ferranina Fol is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula, as well as in those with iron overload or non-iron deficiency anemia. Its use is not recommended in individuals with diseases that affect intestinal iron absorption.

Precautions
