Indications

Femudual is indicated for the treatment of vaginal infections caused by fungi and bacteria. It is especially effective in treating candidal vaginitis and bacterial vaginosis. The combination of Ketoconazole, an antifungal, Clindamycin, an antibiotic, and Lidocaine, a local anesthetic, provides a comprehensive approach to alleviate symptoms and eradicate infections. It is recommended in cases of irritation, itching, and unusual discharge, thereby contributing to the restoration of vaginal health. The administration of this medication is designed to facilitate localized action, allowing for rapid absorption and effectiveness in treatment.

Composition

Each ovule contains: 800 mg of Ketoconazole, 100 mg of Clindamycin, and 100 mg of Lidocaine.

Contraindications

Femudual is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. It should not be used in pregnant or breastfeeding women without adequate medical supervision. It is also contraindicated in patients with a history of severe allergic reactions to other antifungals or antibiotics.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of liver or kidney disease, as well as in those taking other medications that may interact with the components of Femudual. It is important to follow medical instructions and not exceed the recommended dose. If symptoms persist or worsen, a doctor should be consulted.

Storage

Femudual should be stored at room temperature, in a dry place and away from direct light. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the packaging.
