Indications
Femisan 3D is a medication indicated for the treatment of vaginal infections caused by microorganisms sensitive to its components, specifically in cases of vaginitis due to fungi and/or bacteria. This medication combines the antifungal properties of ketoconazole with the antibacterial activity of clindamycin, allowing for a dual approach in the management of complicated vaginal infections. Its use is recommended for adult women who present symptoms of vaginal infection such as itching, burning, abnormal discharge, or foul odor, as well as in the treatment of recurrent infections.
Composition
Each Femisan 3D capsule contains:
- Ketoconazole: 800 mg
- Clindamycin: 100 mg
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of its components, in pregnant or breastfeeding women, and in those with a history of severe liver disease. Its use is not recommended in children.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when using Femisan 3D in patients with a history of gastrointestinal diseases, as well as in those who are being treated with other medications that may interact with ketoconazole or clindamycin. Medical follow-up is important if symptoms persist or worsen after using the medication.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children and do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
