Indications
Facicam Gel is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of pain and inflammation associated with various conditions, including musculoskeletal injuries, rheumatoid arthritis, and osteoarthritis. This medication is effective in relieving inflammation and pain in affected areas, providing a direct local effect on inflamed tissues. It is recommended to apply it to the skin over the affected area, allowing for effective absorption and minimizing the risk of systemic effects.
Composition
Each 100 g of Facicam Gel contains: 0.5 g of piroxicam as the active ingredient, in addition to excipients that allow for the gel's formulation.
Contraindications
Facicam Gel is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to piroxicam or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. It is also contraindicated in patients with active gastric or duodenal ulcers, as well as in those with severe renal or hepatic insufficiency. Its use in children under 12 years of age has not been sufficiently studied, so it is not recommended.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when applying Facicam Gel to areas with open wounds or skin infections. It is important to avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. In case of adverse reactions or skin irritation, the product should be discontinued and a doctor consulted. Combination with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs is not recommended without the supervision of a healthcare professional.
