Indications
Evemglea (Cabergoline) is indicated for the treatment of hyperprolactinemia-related disorders, which may include galactorrhea, amenorrhea, and infertility in women associated with elevated prolactin levels. It is also used in the treatment of Parkinson's disease, where it acts as a dopamine receptor agonist, helping to improve motor symptoms in patients with this condition. It is important that the use of this medication is supervised by a physician, who will assess the appropriateness of the treatment according to the patient's needs.
Composition
Each Evemglea tablet contains 0.5 mg of cabergoline as the active ingredient. Excipients include: lactose monohydrate, corn starch, microcrystalline cellulose, and magnesium stearate, among others.
Contraindications
Evemglea is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to cabergoline or any of the excipients. It should not be used in patients with a history of pulmonary, pleural, or pericardial fibrosis, or in those with severe hepatic impairment.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of psychiatric disorders, cardiovascular diseases, or in those receiving treatment with other medications that affect the dopaminergic system. Continuous medical monitoring during treatment is important.
Storage
Store the product in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
