Indications

Evastel Z is a medication indicated for the treatment of symptoms associated with seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, such as nasal congestion, sneezing, nasal and ocular itching, as well as rhinorrhea. It is also indicated for the treatment of chronic idiopathic urticaria and other allergic manifestations. Ebastine, its active ingredient, acts as a selective antagonist of histamine H1 receptors, providing effective and prolonged relief from allergic symptoms.

Composition

Each wafer contains 20 mg of ebastine, as well as excipients that facilitate its formulation and absorption.

Contraindications

Evastel Z is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to ebastine or any other component of the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with severe renal impairment.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of cardiovascular disease, as well as in those who are being treated with other medications that may cause central nervous system depression. Evastel Z may cause drowsiness in some individuals; therefore, it is advised to avoid operating heavy machinery or driving vehicles until its effect is known.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
