Indications

Erispan is indicated for the treatment of various medical conditions that require an anti-inflammatory and/or immunosuppressive effect. Key indications include:

  • Autoimmune diseases, including systemic lupus erythematosus and rheumatoid arthritis.
  • Severe allergic disorders, such as allergic rhinitis and bronchial asthma.
  • Dermatological diseases, such as severe dermatitis and psoriasis.
  • Hematological disorders, such as thrombocytopenia and hemolytic anemias.
  • Oncological conditions, in the treatment of certain types of cancer, in combination with other therapeutic agents.

Composition

Each Erispan ampoule contains 8 mg of betamethasone dissolved in 2 ml of injectable solution.

Contraindications

Erispan should not be used in patients with known hypersensitivity to betamethasone or any component of the formulation. It is also contraindicated in uncontrolled systemic infections, active peptic ulcer, and in patients with severe cardiovascular diseases.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when administering Erispan to patients with a history of tuberculosis, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, and gastrointestinal diseases. Abrupt discontinuation of treatment can lead to severe adverse effects, so gradual dose adjustment is recommended. Additionally, patients should be monitored for potential side effects and complications associated with corticosteroid use.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light and out of reach of children. Storage temperature should not exceed 30 °C.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
  4. Orders received after 2:00 PM will be shipped the next day.
