Indications
Emselex (darifenacin) is indicated for the treatment of urgency urinary incontinence and frequent urination in adults. It is effective in managing symptoms associated with overactivity of the bladder detrusor muscle, helping to reduce urinary urgency and frequency. This medication acts as a selective muscarinic receptor antagonist, which decreases involuntary contractions and improves bladder storage capacity. It is important that the use of this medication be supervised by a healthcare professional to ensure proper evaluation and monitoring of treatment response.
Composition
Each Emselex tablet contains 15 mg of darifenacin as the active ingredient. Additionally, it includes excipients that facilitate its formulation and absorption. It is recommended to check the packaging for detailed information on specific excipients.
Contraindications
Emselex is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to darifenacin or any of the product's excipients.
