Indications

Elidel (pimecrolimus) is indicated for the treatment of atopic dermatitis in patients over two years of age. It is an anti-inflammatory medication that acts locally to reduce inflammation and itching associated with this skin condition. Its use is recommended in cases where conventional topical treatments are not suitable or have failed. In addition, it is useful for the maintenance and prevention of flares in patients with a history of atopic dermatitis.

Composition

Each gram of cream contains 10 mg of pimecrolimus as an active ingredient, as well as excipients that allow for its formulation and stability.

Contraindications

Elidel is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to pimecrolimus or any of the excipients in the cream. It should not be used in viral infections, such as herpes simplex or chickenpox, and in skin lesions showing signs of bacterial, fungal, or parasitic infection.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when using Elidel in patients with compromised immune systems. Its application is not recommended on areas of skin with infections. Sun exposure should be avoided on treated areas, as well as the use of irritating products or those containing alcohol in combination with the treatment.

Storage

Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.

  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
