Indications

Eldoquin Cream 4% is indicated for the treatment of skin hyperpigmentation, such as dark spots on the skin, melasma, and solar lentigines. Its action is based on the inhibition of tyrosinase, a key enzyme in melanin synthesis, which contributes to the reduction of skin pigmentation. It is recommended to apply the cream evenly on the affected areas, following the instructions of a healthcare professional to obtain the best results. It is important to mention that the use of this cream must be accompanied by sun protection measures, as sun exposure can worsen the hyperpigmentation problem.

Composition

Each 100 grams of Eldoquin Cream 4% contains 4 grams of hydroquinone as an active ingredient, in addition to excipients that facilitate its topical application.

Contraindications

Eldoquin Cream 4% is contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity to hydroquinone or any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended on irritated, burned, or damaged skin areas. Likewise, its use in patients under 12 years of age should be evaluated by a physician.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when using Eldoquin in patients with a history of dermatitis or eczema. A patch test is suggested before extensive use to assess possible sensitization. It is essential to avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. If severe irritation occurs, treatment should be discontinued and a doctor consulted.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light and out of the reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
