Indications

Edegra is indicated for the treatment of erectile dysfunction in men. It works by increasing blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation, which helps achieve and maintain an adequate erection. Its use is recommended for patients who have difficulty achieving or maintaining an erection sufficient for sexual activity. It is important to note that Edegra is only effective with sexual stimulation and does not cause a spontaneous erection.

Composition

Each Edegra tablet contains 100 mg of sildenafil as the active ingredient. Additionally, excipients such as microcrystalline cellulose, starch, silica, among others, are included to allow for the proper formulation of the medicine.

Contraindications

Edegra is contraindicated in patients who are hypersensitive to sildenafil or any of the product's excipients. It should not be used in combination with nitrates or nitric oxide donors, as this can cause a significant decrease in blood pressure. Likewise, it is not recommended for patients with severe cardiovascular diseases, severe hepatic insufficiency, or those who have suffered a recent myocardial infarction.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of cardiovascular diseases, who are undergoing treatment with antihypertensive drugs, or who have conditions such as retinitis pigmentosa. A medical evaluation is essential before starting treatment with Edegra. Furthermore, it is recommended to avoid excessive alcohol consumption, as it can interfere with the effectiveness of the medication.

Storage

Store the medication in its original packaging, at room temperature, between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius, in a dry place and out of the reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
