Indications
Dualiver is indicated for the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders characterized by the presence of spasms in the digestive tract. It is particularly useful in the management of symptoms associated with irritable bowel syndrome and other functional disorders of the digestive system. This medication combines two active ingredients: pinaverium bromide, which acts as an antispasmodic, and dimethicone, which helps reduce gas formation and abdominal distension. Its use is recommended in patients experiencing abdominal pain, cramps, and discomfort associated with digestion.
Composition
Each Dualiver capsule contains 100 mg of pinaverium bromide and 150 mg of dimethicone as active ingredients. Additionally, it includes excipients that facilitate the formulation and absorption of the medication.
Contraindications
Dualiver is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in cases of intestinal obstruction, ulcerative colitis, or conditions requiring immediate surgical intervention. Likewise, caution should be exercised in patients with a history of heart or kidney disease.
Precautions
Patients are advised to inform their doctor about any medications they are taking, as well as their medical history, to avoid adverse interactions. Its use during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended unless strictly necessary and under the supervision of a physician.
