Indications

Doxium is indicated in the treatment of venous disorders, such as chronic venous insufficiency, which manifests with symptoms like edema, heaviness, and pain in the extremities. This medication is also useful in the treatment of hemorrhoids, relieving pain, inflammation, and associated discomfort. Its use is recommended in patients with microcirculatory alterations, contributing to improved blood circulation and capillary permeability.

Composition

Each Doxium capsule contains 500 mg of Calcium Dobesilate, as well as excipients necessary for the product's formulation.

Contraindications

Doxium is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Calcium Dobesilate or any of the product's excipients. Its use is not recommended in patients with a history of severe allergic reactions. Furthermore, its use during pregnancy and lactation should be evaluated by a doctor, as its safety and efficacy under these conditions have not been established.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with liver or kidney diseases, as the elimination of the medication may be affected. Adequate monitoring is important in these cases. Additionally, patients are advised to inform their doctor about any other medications they are taking to avoid unwanted interactions.

Storage

Store Doxium in its original packaging, in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use this medication after the expiration date indicated on the package.
