Indications
Dostein is indicated for the treatment of respiratory diseases involving excessive mucus production, such as chronic bronchitis, acute bronchitis, and other pulmonary conditions presenting with viscous secretions. Its mucolytic action helps facilitate the expulsion of secretions, thereby improving respiratory function. It is useful in the treatment of pathologies requiring a reduction in mucus viscosity, promoting the clearing of the respiratory tract. Additionally, it has been used as an adjunct in respiratory infections, contributing to the improved efficacy of other treatments due to its ability to facilitate the elimination of accumulated secretions.
Composition
Each capsule contains: Erdosteine 300 mg, excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, starch, magnesium stearate, and gelatin.
Contraindications
Dostein is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to erdosteine or any of the excipients in the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with a history of active peptic ulcer or in those with conditions affecting gastrointestinal transit.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of liver or kidney disease, as well as in those undergoing treatment with other medications that may affect the respiratory system. It is important to avoid self-medication and consult a doctor for any persistent or unusual symptoms.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children.
