Indications
Domperidone is indicated for the treatment of symptoms related to gastrointestinal disorders, such as nausea and vomiting. Its use is relevant in patients experiencing these symptoms due to conditions such as gastroparesis and in those receiving treatments with medications that may induce nausea. Additionally, it is used in the management of side effects associated with treatments in oncology patients and in those suffering from dyspepsia. Domperidone acts as a dopamine receptor antagonist, facilitating gastric emptying and improving gastrointestinal motility.
Composition
Each Domperidone tablet contains 10 mg of domperidone as the active ingredient, as well as excipients that allow for the formulation of the medicine.
Contraindications
Domperidone should not be administered to patients with known hypersensitivity to domperidone or any of the components of the formula. It is contraindicated in patients with a history of QT interval prolongation, heart disorders, and those who are being treated with medications that may induce arrhythmias. Its use is not recommended in patients with mechanical gastrointestinal obstruction or in those with severe liver disease.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with cardiovascular diseases or those being treated with other drugs that may affect heart function. It is suggested to monitor patients who experience symptoms such as dizziness or palpitations during treatment. The risk-benefit ratio should be evaluated in patients over 60 years of age and in those who consume medications that may interact with domperidone.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children.
