Indications
Dolocartigen is indicated for the treatment of pain and inflammation associated with various osteoarticular conditions. Primarily, it is indicated for the management of the symptoms of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. The combination of Diacerein and Meloxicam provides an anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect, facilitating improved mobility and pain reduction in patients suffering from these conditions. It is important to follow the doctor's instructions for proper management of the dosage and duration of treatment.
Composition
Each Dolocartigen capsule contains 50 mg of Diacerein and 15 mg of Meloxicam. The excipients used in the formulation are necessary to ensure the stability and effectiveness of the medication.
Contraindications
Dolocartigen is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. It should also be avoided in patients with active gastric or duodenal ulcers, severe renal failure, and those with a history of severe adverse reactions to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Its use in the third trimester of pregnancy is contraindicated.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of gastrointestinal problems, renal or hepatic disorders. Regular medical evaluation is advised during treatment, especially in elderly patients or those taking other medications. Concomitant use with other NSAIDs or anticoagulants is not recommended without adequate medical supervision.
Storage
Store Dolocartigen at room temperature, between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius, in a dry place protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
