Indications
Dolocam Plus is indicated for the treatment of pain and inflammation, as well as for the management of conditions such as arthritis, sprains, muscle strains, and postoperative pain. The combination of Meloxicam, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), and Methocarbamol, a muscle relaxant, allows for a comprehensive approach to pain, relieving both inflammation and muscle tension. This medication can be used in adults and it is recommended to evaluate the best therapeutic option based on the patient's clinical condition.
Composition
Each Dolocam Plus capsule contains:
- Meloxicam: 15 mg
- Methocarbamol: 215 mg
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to Meloxicam, Methocarbamol, or any of the excipients in the formula. It is also contraindicated in patients with active gastric or duodenal ulcers, severe renal insufficiency, and in those who have experienced adverse reactions to other NSAIDs.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of gastrointestinal diseases, liver diseases, as well as in elderly patients. It is important to monitor renal function during treatment, especially in patients with preexisting conditions. The use of Dolocam Plus should be evaluated in the context of concomitant therapy the patient is receiving.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children.
