Indications
Dolaren is indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe pain, including muscle aches, headaches, and pain associated with inflammatory conditions. It is useful in the management of postoperative pain and in situations of chronic pain, as well as for fever relief. The combination of Diclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), and Carisoprodol, a muscle relaxant, allows for more effective control of pain and muscle tension. This medication can be used in the treatment of conditions such as lumbago, sciatica, and sports injuries that require a combined approach to pain and inflammation management.
Composition
Each Dolaren tablet contains:
- Diclofenac sodium 50 mg
- Carisoprodol 200 mg
Contraindications
Dolaren is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula, as well as in those with active peptic ulcer, severe renal or hepatic insufficiency, and in patients with a history of allergic reactions or asthma induced by aspirin or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. It should not be administered during the third trimester of pregnancy.
Precautions
Caution is advised in patients with a history of gastrointestinal problems, hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, as well as in those taking anticoagulants. Prolonged use of NSAIDs can increase the risk of adverse events. It is important to evaluate renal and hepatic function before starting treatment and during its use. Patients should be informed about the possibility of side effects and the importance of following medical instructions.
Storage
Store Dolaren in its original packaging, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C, in a dry place and away from direct light. Keep out of reach of children.
