Indications

Dimegan Syrup is indicated for the treatment of symptoms associated with allergic conditions such as seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, as well as chronic idiopathic urticaria. Loratadine, its active ingredient, works by blocking the action of histamine, a chemical mediator responsible for allergic symptoms, offering relief in cases of sneezing, nasal itching, runny nose, and watery eyes. In addition, it can be useful in the management of allergic skin reactions.

Composition

Each 5 ml of Dimegan Syrup contains 5 mg of Loratadine as an active ingredient. Supplemented with suitable excipients for syrup formulation.

Contraindications

This medicine is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to loratadine or to any of the components of the formulation. Its use is not recommended in patients with severe renal insufficiency.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with liver diseases, as a dose adjustment may be required. It is advisable to avoid alcohol consumption during treatment, as it may increase the risk of adverse effects. Likewise, the use of this medication in pregnant or breastfeeding women should be evaluated, consulting a doctor beforehand.

Storage

Store at room temperature, in a cool, dry place, away from direct light and out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the package.
