Indications
Dila-Tec is indicated in the treatment of essential arterial hypertension and as part of the treatment of heart failure. Hydralazine acts as a vasodilator, reducing peripheral vascular resistance and allowing the heart to pump more efficiently. This medication can be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensives to achieve greater blood pressure control. It is especially useful in patients who do not respond adequately to other antihypertensive treatments.
Composition
Each Dila-Tec tablet contains 10 mg of hydralazine as the active ingredient, as well as excipients necessary for the formulation of the medication.
Contraindications
Dila-Tec is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to hydralazine or to any of the components of the formula. It should not be used in cases of coronary artery disease or in patients with a history of systemic lupus erythematosus. It is also contraindicated in patients with severe renal insufficiency.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering this medication to patients with pre-existing heart disease, mild or moderate renal insufficiency, and in elderly patients. It is important to monitor blood pressure and heart rate during treatment. Concomitant use with other vasodilators without medical supervision is not recommended.

Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
