Indications

Dicynone is indicated for the treatment of minor hemorrhages, particularly in situations where rapid bleeding control is required. It is useful in surgical procedures, as well as in cases of nosebleeds, gynecological and dental hemorrhages. Additionally, it is used in patients with coagulation disorders and in situations where bleeding is anticipated, such as during surgical interventions or postoperatively. Its action is based on platelet stabilization and improved hemostasis, so it is recommended in specific situations under medical supervision.

Composition

Each ampoule contains: Etamsylate 250 mg in a volume of 2 ml.

Contraindications

Dicynone is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to etamsylate or to any of the components of the formula. It is also contraindicated in cases of severe thrombocytopathy, and in situations requiring normal coagulation, as its effect may interfere with the management of these conditions.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of thrombosis or coagulation disorders. Constant monitoring of hemostatic parameters during treatment is essential. The risk-benefit ratio should be evaluated in patients who are undergoing anticoagulant treatment or who have cardiovascular diseases.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light and out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
