Indications

Cyclofemina is a medication indicated for the treatment of hormonal disorders related to the menstrual cycle, as well as for pregnancy prevention in women who wish to use a hormonal contraceptive method. Its use is indicated in cases of dysmenorrhea, premenstrual syndrome, and for the regulation of the menstrual cycle in patients with irregularities. Additionally, it can be used in hormone replacement therapy during menopause to alleviate symptoms such as hot flashes and vaginal atrophy.

Composition

Each Cyclofemina syringe contains: 25 mg of Medroxyprogesterone and 5 mg of Estradiol, in a 0.5 ml presentation.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with a history of venous or arterial thrombosis, breast cancer, severe liver diseases, and in those who are allergic to any of its components. It should also be avoided in pregnant or breastfeeding women, as well as in patients with undiagnosed vaginal bleeding.
