Indications

Conalpin (Mirtazapine) is indicated for the treatment of major depressive episodes in adults. This medication acts on the central nervous system, improving symptoms associated with depression, such as low mood, loss of interest in previously enjoyable activities, fatigue, and sleep disorders. Additionally, it can be used in certain cases to treat anxiety disorders and sleep disorders associated with depression.

Composition

Each Conalpin tablet contains 30 mg of Mirtazapine as the active ingredient. It also includes excipients such as lactose, starch, microcrystalline cellulose, and other components that ensure the stability and efficacy of the product.

Contraindications

Conalpin is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Mirtazapine or any of the excipients in the formula. Its use is not recommended in combination with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) and in patients with a history of manic episodes.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of seizures, severe liver or kidney disease, as well as in those with a history of substance abuse. Adequate monitoring is recommended during treatment, especially at the beginning and when adjusting the dose. It is also important to consider the risk of suicide, especially in adolescents and young adults.

Storage

Conalpin should be stored in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children and avoid exposure to direct light.
