Indications

Colpunov Ung is a medication indicated for the treatment of various dermatological conditions that require the use of local hormones, specifically in the management of disorders related to estrogen deficiency. It is used to relieve symptoms such as irritation, itching, and dryness in affected areas. It is indicated in cases of vulvar and vaginal atrophy, as well as in the treatment of dermatitis and other skin disorders where the use of a local-acting steroid is considered appropriate.

Composition

Each 100 grams of ointment contains 1 gram of Promestriene. Excipients: petrolatum, lanolin, and other components necessary for the ointment formulation.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to the components of the formula. It should not be used in active infectious processes on the skin, such as dermatitis herpetiformis, or in patients with a history of thromboembolism and certain types of hormone-dependent cancers, such as breast cancer.

Precautions

Caution is recommended when used in patients with a history of cardiovascular disease, as well as in women with a history of breast cancer or who present risk factors. The risk-benefit ratio should be evaluated in patients with diseases that may be affected by the hormonal action of the medication. Prolonged use without adequate medical supervision is not recommended.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children and do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.

Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
