Indications

Cloran Ung is indicated for the treatment of superficial bacterial infections, such as: wound infections, burns, skin infections, and bacterial conjunctivitis. It is effective in the management of infections caused by microorganisms susceptible to chloramphenicol, including some strains of Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. The product is for topical use, and its application should be performed on the affected area appropriately to maximize absorption and treatment efficacy. It is recommended to consult a doctor to determine the duration of treatment and the appropriate use of the medication based on the severity of the infection and the patient's clinical response.

Composition

Chloramphenicol 5 mg/g.

Contraindications

Cloran Ung is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to chloramphenicol or any of the product's excipients. Its use is not recommended in patients with pre-existing hematological diseases, especially those with a history of aplastic anemia, and in patients receiving concomitant treatments that may potentiate the toxicity of chloramphenicol.

Precautions

Special care should be taken when using this medication in patients with hepatic or renal diseases, as well as in those with a history of bone marrow disorders. Clinical monitoring of the treatment response is advisable, as well as monitoring for signs of toxicity. Application should be restricted to the affected area and should not be applied to deep wounds or extensive burns. Prolonged use is not recommended to avoid the development of bacterial resistance.

Storage

Store Cloran Ung in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the package.
